Split the Bill! Introducing Instalment Invoicing on invup
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that makes billing even more flexible; instalment invoicing! Now, when you create an invoice, you can enable partial payments, allowing your customers to pay over time rather than all at once.
This is a game-changer for customers who might not have the funds on hand to cover the full amount right away. Instead of delaying the purchase or looking elsewhere, they can make a payment that fits their current budget. At the same time, as a business owner, you still receive a portion of the payment upfront, which can help you get started on fulfilling the order or covering the costs associated with it.
It’s simple. Just mark the invoice to allow partial payments. When your customer clicks “Pay Now,” they can choose the amount they’d like to pay. After processing, they’ll receive a receipt for that payment, and the invoice will be updated to show the remaining balance due. This approach helps both parties, giving buyers the flexibility they need and sellers the cash flow they rely on.
